Our Story

Lakeside farm has been many things during it's 136 year history. When Cindy and Pete bought the property in 2014 it had served as a sheep farm for many years. Interested in preserving open space they were delighted that much of the land was protected as the Bush Conservation through the Chester Land Trust. This land will never be developed or used for anything other than farming. The open land is currently used for horse pastures that are carefully maintained for grazing.
The house and barn renovations took almost a year to complete. You can view the before and after pictures on our photos page.
